Tina Howe LPC
Tina is a child counselor who enjoys working with children who struggle with anxiety and depression. She also works with children who experience Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Tina is a certified trainer in Safe Crisis Management, and assists children who have suffered from sexual and physical abuse, substance abuse, or are in need of anger management skills.
As a child counselor, Tina focuses her counseling sessions on providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to solve current problems and change unhelpful thinking and behaviors. Tina works from a Person-Centered approach. In Person-Centered Therapy, Tina operates from the standpoint that the client is the expert in his or her own life and when the right conditions are provided people are better able to reach their full potential. She focuses on providing the relationship and environment that promotes change and growth.
Tina has afternoon and evening appointments available in our Farmington office.
