Jane Maxwell PhD, LPC, NCC
Jane is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens who are struggling with a variety of problems, including life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, stress, and eating disorders. Jane also works with clients in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity.
Jane aims to help clients by understanding their situation, using a combination of their perceptions and emotions associated with the issues. She then works with her clients to increase insight and begin making positive changes. Jane believes that these changes may be cognitive or behavioral changes, or both. She believes that humans and life are very complex and tries to assist her clients by helping them filter through life’s difficulties in order to balance their challenges.
