Melyssa Zoellner, MA, PLPC
Melyssa is under the supervision of Deborah Oliver (License Number 2001015900). Melyssa works with children, teens and families in our Farmington location. She brings with her a lot of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Melyssa enjoys being able to make a difference at a critical time in children’s lives. Some of her specialty areas include working with children in foster care, as well as children dealing with anger, anxiety, and depression issues.
Melyssa always begins the therapy process with an open mind and identifies the approach that will best suit each client and families unique situation. She practices from a person-centered approach and develops a trusting relationship with each client and family to help them resolve whatever challenge they are dealing with. While working individually with children, Melyssa likes to integrate creative activities and games to help them learn new skills, get them to open up and talk more, as well as have fun at the same time!
Melyssa has afternoon and evening availability in our Farmington location.
Bachelors in Elementary Education from University of Missouri-Columbia
Masters in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University
Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor
Melyssa enjoys sports, hiking, camping, traveling and seeing family and friends. She also loves painting, drawing and playing ukulele and piano.
