Leigh Sander MA, PLPC
Leigh is under the supervision of Charles Johnson (License Number 000059). Leigh works with children and teens who are struggling with a variety of problems. When working with teens, her areas of specialty are anxiety counseling and depression counseling. Leigh understands that childhood and the teenage years can be full of adjustments that children and teens often struggle with. Leigh provides a safe, warm, and neutral environment for her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings regarding any changes or struggles they are facing.
Leigh works from a Rogerian and Solution-Focused approach, striving to make the counseling environment one of deep respect, acceptance, support, and honesty. Leigh focuses on uncovering the strengths in her clients and works to find solutions to their needs. Leigh also believes in the power of having family members participate in counseling sessions. When appropriate, Leigh includes parents, guardians, and other siblings in her counseling sessions in order for her clients to get the best benefits and most lasting results from counseling.
