Dustin Scott MA, PLPC
Dustin is under the supervision of Melissa Brengle. Dustin works with children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Dustin’s previous experience working in emergency rooms has helped him be able to quickly identify his clients’ needs and set obtainable goals. Dustin has experience in helping clients manage anger, intense emotions, and impulsive actions. While he is quick to get his clients results, Dustin also understands the importance of providing comfort and support in the face of loss, difficult changes, and life circumstances.
Dustin uses Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. However, he will taylor his approach to best fit his clients’ needs, which includes using mindfulness, meditation, and other DBT skills. Dustin enjoys helping his clients gain new perspective and strategize with them about solutions that will work. Dustin says, “I believe it is important to help my clients gain new perspective and empower them to achieve their own goals.”
