Meet the Therapists
Shannon Anderson MA, LPC, NCC Owner, Clinical Director Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. He is also a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, a designation conferred by the Association for Play Therapy. To earn this designation, Shannon completed 150 clock hours of play therapy training, five years and 5,000 hours of postmaster's clinical experience, and 500 supervised and 500 additional hours of play therapy experience. Shannon has been the owner and Clinical Director of Tender Hearts since August of 2010. He has worked in a Children's Residential Treatment Facility and in several community agency positions serving the needs of children and their families in the Southeast Missouri area. He specializes in Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy.

Therapists currently contracting with Tender Hearts Andrea Crafton MA, PLPC Andrea has experience working with children, adolescents, and families who are struggling with family difficulties. Andrea has past experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital environment. Before that she worked closely with the Department of Child and Family Services and provided in-home therapy to families in crisis in the state of Georgia. Andrea is currently attending the University of North Texas online to receive a graduate certification in Behavior Modification and will be a certified Applied Behavior Analyst in the near future. Andrea is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor.

Jeanie Dale MA, LPC Jeanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Jeanie began contracting with Tender Hearts in March of 2011. Jeanie has extensive experience working in a Children's Residential Treatment Facility. She specializes in Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy and is available for limited appointments in our Cape Girardeau office.

Utahna Hancock MA, LPC, ATR-BC Utahna began contracting with Tender Hearts in October of 2011. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist. Utahna has extensive experience in a variety of Mental Health settings. Utahna is available for Adult Individual Therapy, Marriage & Couples Counseling, as well as Family Therapy with Children, Adolescents & Parents. She is available for limited appointments in our Cape Girardeau office.

Teri Kluesner MSW, LCSW Teri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She began contracting with Tender Hearts in November of 2011. Teri has extensive experience working in numerous local Mental Health settings. Teri is available for Adult Individual Therapy, Marriage & Couples Counseling, and Family Therapy with Children, Adolescents & Parents. Teri is available for appointments in our Jackson location.
