Family Counseling
Therapists at Tender Hearts use both the traditional approach to family counseling as
well as family play therapy techniques when applicable. Therapists can also help with
Co-Parenting skills to aide families going through separation and divorce. This approach can help family
members adjust to their new roles more effectively. Family Counseling is also recommended in
combination with traditional or Child Play Therapy and Adolescent Counseling. Therapists understand that
involving the parents in treatment will help the child or teen achieve faster, more dramatic results regardless of
the targeted behavior or issue being addressed.
